DTA offers free holiday service, DECC shuttles
The Duluth Transit Authority will operate a limited holiday service schedule for regular route and STRIDE services in Duluth on Thanksgiving Day and special shuttle services for the 22nd annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the DECC for selective locations in Duluth and Superior.
The Duluth Transit Authority will operate a limited holiday service schedule for regular route and STRIDE services in Duluth on Thanksgiving Day and special shuttle services for the 22nd annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the DECC for selective locations in Duluth and Superior. DTA’s regular route and shuttle services on Thanksgiving Day will be free all day, compliments of National Bank of Commerce.
Beginning with this past New Year’s Day, the DTA introduced the operation of holiday services in Duluth. The DTA provides limited holiday service schedule, similar to the Sunday level of service, on all major holidays, however, it is only provided in Duluth. Prior to New Year’s Day, the DTA had not provided holiday services since the early 1970s.
Holiday service schedules are highlighted on all passenger hand schedule’s Sunday section and on the DTA website, www.duluthtransit.com.
