THORP, Wis. (AP) — Clark County officials say a hunter has been shot about 3 miles southwest of Thorp.
Authorities say the hunter's condition is not known. The victim was flown to Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Sheriff's officials say they received a call before 8 a.m. Sunday. The initial investigation shows that one member of a hunting party was shooting at a deer, when another person in the group was shot.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating.
