Dessert theater

Zion Lutheran Church presents “History of the Carols,” a dessert theater by www.actsone.org, at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, at the church, 2022 E. Second St., Superior. The play is co-directed by Vicky Holm and Cindy Ledin. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the door.

Mixed chorus

Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2310 E. Fourth St., Duluth, hosts “Brave Souls and Dreamers,” a concert by One Voice Mixed Chorus of the Twin Cities, at 7:30 p.m. Friday. One Voice is a 90-member GLBT choir known throughout Minnesota for their diverse music and community outreach. The concert is a fundraising effort by Duluth United for All Families. Proceeds are used in the campaign against the marriage amendment limiting marriage to straight couples. Tickets are $15 in advance and may be ordered through www.MnUnited.org or $20 at the door.

Bountiful boutique

The Ukraine Mission Team of Bayside Baptist Church at New York Avenue and Belknap Street in Superior, sponsors the seventh annual Bayside’s Bountiful Boutique 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Call the office (715-394-6002) or visit www.baysidesuperior.org for more information.

Holiday festival

St. Albans Holiday Festival runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Crafts, baked goods, quilt raffle and a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is all available at 1510 New York Ave., Superior

Thanksgiving service

Hawthorne Assembly of God invites everyone to a community Thanksgiving service at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The event will feature special music with dessert and fellowship to follow.
