LETTER: Shop local for unique experience
To the Telegram: I would like to thank the six stores that participated in “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” weekend event.

I would like to thank the six stores that participated in “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” weekend event.
Some establishments I had seen before, others were new to me — all were comparable to shops in Canal Park.
With the holidays around the corner, try shopping locally with these businesses: Art in the Alley, 912 Hammond Ave.; Antiques on Belknap, 1709 Belknap Ave.; Kate by Courtney & Leigh, 10 N. 21st St.; Peachie’s Stained Glass, 5904 Tower Ave.; Wine Beginnings, 1705 Tower Ave.; and the Rocking Horse Gift Shoppe, 310 Belknap St.
I am impressed with each owner’s business drive to bring unique shopping to Superior, something we sorely lack.
