“I’m excited to be working in, and contributing to an area where I was born and raised,” said Grajewski, a 2011 graduate of Lake Superior College. Cannon graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1999.
“We are a locally founded and locally administered nonprofit (501c30 which takes pride in hiring dental personnel who are community members with local ties to each of the areas we serve,” said Stacey Anderson, executive director of Just Kids Dental.
Just Kids Dental provides underserved school children with basic dental services, such as fluoride, sealants, cleanings, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
This expansion means Just Kids Dental now serves a total of 27 schools in four counties — Carlton, St. Louis, and Lake in Minnesota, and Douglas in Wisconsin. Children enrolled in Wisconsin or Minnesota Medicaid are eligible, as well as those whose families are uninsured and income eligible within the free/reduced lunch guidelines.
