Eight Spartans named All-LSC

The Superior High School girls swimming and diving team dominated the Lake Superior Conference All-Conference team for the 2011 season.

Spartans honored in individual events were: Kaitlin Heinen (200 and 500 freestyle); Grace Elonen (50 and 100 freestyle); Victoria Johnson (50 freestyle); Karrigan Grimstad (diving); Kelsey Hansen (100 freestyle) and Kaitlin Sanders (100 breaststroke).

Superior relays named All-LSC were the 200 Medley Relay (Johnson, Kaitlin Sanders, Kaitlin Heinen, Kelsey Hansen); 200 Freestyle Relay (Elonen, Johnson, Kacie Heinen, Kelsey Hansen); and 400 Freestyle Relay (Elonen, Kacie Heinen, Sanders, Kaitlin Heinen).
