2 Wis. men have combined 10 OWI allegations

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin State Patrol troopers have arrested two men who have 10 allegations of intoxicated driving between them.

The men were arrested in separate incidents, one for fourth-offense driving while intoxicated, and the other for his sixth offense of the same charge.

The State Patrol says the first suspect is a 48-year-old Oshkosh man. Oconto County deputies received a report late Friday night of a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 41. The State Patrol says a trooper approached the man, who acknowledged drinking and driving.

The other man was arrested Saturday about 5 a.m. Authorities say the 42-year-old Sun Prairie man was stopped for speeding, and eventually arrested for sixth-offense intoxicated driving.
