The Duluth office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. has been selected to build a 14,592-square-foot assisted living facility in Duluth.
Diamond Willow-Lester Park is designed by DSGW Architects and developed by A&L Properties, both of Duluth. The project is a one-story, wood-framed, 20-bed advanced care facility located at 6353 & 6355 E. Superior St. Construction is expected to be completed by February.
KA has worked with A&L Properties over the past 12 years on numerous Duluth projects, including Pavilion II Oncology Building, Bridgeman Russell Apartments, Lakewalk Surgery Center II, Old Downtown Renaissance Building, Wieland Block Building, P.S. Rudie & Associates Office Suite and Technology Village Skywalk.
One of KA’s primary areas of growth is senior housing construction. The company recently completed Northland Village in Hoyt Lakes, Minn. and an expansion of Friendship Village in Bloomington, Minn. Recent groundbreakings include projects in Orono and Lakeville, Minn. in collaboration with Ebenezer, and in Green Bay, Wis. for the Oneida Tribe.
