The season came to an end for the Northwestern Tigers volleyball team with a 3-0 loss at Ashland Thursday night in a WIAA regional game.
The Oredockers advanced to Thursday’s regional semifinal game with wins of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-23.
"I think the whole thing tonight was that our girls were too nervous," NHS coach Tanya Amys said. "They let their nerves get to them."
The Tigers, who end the season with an overall record of 8-28, were led by Ally May, 16 kills; Sarah Miller, nine digs; and Aliex Friend, 13 set assists.
Seniors playing their final match for Northwestern were Lynsey Anttila, Molly Konczak, May and Miller.
