Several University of Wisconsin-Superior distance learning students were awarded departmental scholarships for the upcoming 2011/2012 academic school year.
Several University of Wisconsin-Superior distance learning students were awarded departmental scholarships for the upcoming 2011/2012 academic school year. They include: Aimee Bandelin of Superior, Distance Learning Scholarship; Katrina Trebesch, Dorothy McKay Anderson Scholarship; Lisa Sorvik of Duluth, Katz Family Scholarship; Michael Cheslock of Rhinelander, Marcovich Scholarship and the Roger & Gloria Redding Educational Fund; Kristinge Baker of Clinton, Wis., Distance Learning Scholarship and the Marsha Russ Scholarship; Sarah Clark of Marengo, Gus Frye Scholarship; Ryan Beamer of South Range, Katz Family Scholarship; Jamie Kriewaldt of Clintonville, Wis., Erika M. UW-Superior’s Distance Learning Center has been serving students for more than 30 years, offering adult nontraditional students the opportunity to pursue an accredited University of Wisconsin degree through online studies. There are five majors available through the distance learning venter: communicating arts, elementary education, sustainable management, individually designed major, and beginning this spring of 2012, health and wellness management.
