Duluth: An evening of celebration and music to support CHOICE, unlimited’s ARTS program takes place from 8 p.m. to midnight at St. Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake, 805 E. CHOICE, unlimited is a day program dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and persons who are experiencing barriers to employment and community inclusion.

Gordon: The Get-Er-Done Recreation Club of Gordon is sponsoring a PINK RUN. Participants may take ATVs, cars, motorcycles or other transportation and sponsor nine Gordon-area businesses. Cost is $10 per person. There will be raffles and silent auctions with riders finishing at McNamara’s Bar and Grill, 12601 E. Mail Road, by 6 p.m. All monies raised will be donated to Circle of Hope, an organization which supports individuals diagnosed with breast cancer during their treatment.
Superior: The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s First Nations Center invites everyone to the annual Fall Walk Around at Pattison State Park. The event begins with a short ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by an optional walk around the lake and ending with fellowship chili, cornbread and other goodies. Duluth: Each fall, Northland families have an opportunity to remember the lives of loved ones who died in hospice care. Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospice and Palliative Care Program will hold its annual memorial service at 2 p.m. The service will take place at Lakeview Covenant Church in Duluth, 1001 Jean Duluth Road. Duluth: Thomas Driver, Ph.D., of Animal Intelligence Software, Inc., will visit The College of St. Scholastica for a presentation on business ethics. “Ethics and Leadership: Theory and Practice,” from noon to 1 p.m. in the Mitchell Auditorium on campus; refreshments will be served after the presentation.
