ROCKLAND, Wis. (AP) — Three teenagers could face charges for a fire that destroyed a playground built by the small La Crosse County community of Rockland.

Village President Linda Young says local leaders will meet Tuesday to talk about the future of the playground. Young says it took years to raise the $25,000 needed to build the playground at Gaylord Park.

Investigators tell WKBT-TV two 14-year-olds and a 17-year-old were lighting toilet paper on fire in the park late Saturday night. By 2 a.m. Sunday, the playground was engulfed in flames.
