Bong Bridge inspections start Monday
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation conducts routine inspections on the Richard Ira Bong Bridge over the next two weeks starting Monday.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation conducts routine inspections on the Richard Ira Bong Bridge over the next two weeks starting Monday.
Crews will be on the bridge 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 1 — weather permitting — to conduct the inspections.
Motorists should anticipate single lane closures on the bridge throughout the duration of the inspection. Speed limits will be reduced 45 mph and lanes will allow a 12-foot maximum width.
