ENGAGEMENT: McCain-Plummer

Heather McCain of Poplar, daughter of Alex and MaryAnn McCain of Superior, will exchange vows with Joshua Plummer of Poplar on Aug. 27 with a private outdoor ceremony at the groom’s grandparents on the St. Louis River. He is the son of Jerry and Lori Plummer of Poplar.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Superior High School and is attending WITC in the nursing program. She is employed as a CNA at Golden Living Center, Superior.

The groom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Northwestern High School in Maple and graduated in 2004 from Lake Superior College in Duluth. He is employed as a mechanical director for ZMC Inc., Duluth.
