Lutherans for Life
Lutherans for Life, a local chapter of individuals and congregations upholding the God-given value and sanctity of human life, meets at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church, 2415 Ensign St., near Viewcrest Nursing Home in the Piedmont Heights area of Duluth. All are welcome.
Five-Day Club
Bayside Baptist Church, 3915 N .16th St., hosts a 5-Day Club for children ages 5-12 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday. The club will include games, songs, Bible and missionary stories and memory verses. Five-Day Clubs are sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship. Carnival
Hawthorne Assembly of God holds its annual Back to School Carnival 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the church, 6366 S. County Road E. There will be food, crafts, games, face painting, a bouncy house and a giant sling shot. Bring your school age children and enjoy the atmosphere.
