JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — A man who told police he heard voices cut his own throat with a razor and then cut the throats of the woman who lived with him and the throat of their daughter.
The Janesville Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/pF8kwg ) police say none of the injuries in the early-morning incident Sunday were considered life-threatening.
Police were called to a residence about 4 a.m.
The three were taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, where the man remained under police guard Sunday morning.
The man was arrested, but police say where he goes after his release from the hospital will depend on a psychiatric evaluation.
