Class of 2001

The SHS Class of 2001 reunites on Aug. 20 at the Elks Lodge, 1503 Belknap St., Superior from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person. E-mail 2001SSHSREUNION@

Class of 1945

The Superior Central High School class of 1945 meets at the Elk’s Club in Superior at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4. Members of the class of 1946 and class of 1947 are invited to join them. To make reservations, call Harriet at (715) 399-2598 or Pat at (715) 392-7634.

Class of 1954

The Central High School class of 1954 meets for lunch at the Upper Deck Restaurant, 1415 N. 46th St., at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 4. All classmates and guests are invited. Reservations are not necessary, but call the restaurant (715) 399-8152 by July 31.

Class of 1956

The 55th reunion luncheon of the Superior Central High School class of 1956 begins at 1 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Upper Deck Restaurant. Reservations are due Saturday. Call Pat Higgins at (715) 392-1397.

Class of 1951

The East High School class of 1951 holds its 60th Class Reunion on Aug. 5, 6, 7. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at the Bong World War II Heritage Center, with a flag raising honoring those of our class who served in the military. There will be coffee and refreshments following the flag-raising and a tour of the center. At 5 p.m., there’s an informal gathering at the Old Town Bar and Grill. Any members of the class of 1950 or 1952 are welcome to join us and renew old acquaintances. Saturday, we will meet at the Shack Restaurant at 5 p.m. for a social hour, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. We will have a silent auction with items donated by classmates. There will be a program, featuring music by pianist, Yvonne Cloutier and Bob Olson, baritone. Sunday, a picnic will be held noon to 5 p.m. at Lucius Woods Park in Solon Springs.
