Register for master gardener class

University of Wisconsin Extension, Douglas County will be hosting Level 1 Master Gardener Volunteer Training, Sept. 6 through Nov. 22. Potential master gardener volunteers should be interested in horticulture, dependable, unbiased, open- minded and willing to help people with their horticultural concerns. Participants are expected to provide volunteer services to their community.

The registration fee is $125 and includes manuals, materials and presentations. The sessions are held 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday for 12 weeks. The deadline for registration is Aug. 8.
