Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior will host an informational open house and hands-on demonstration of industry tools for those interested in a career as an energy efficiency technician.
The Energy Efficiency Technician program was introduced at WITC-Superior last year to specifically address the need for specialists to evaluate the energy demands of residential and commercial facilities.
The informational open house runs 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at WITC-Superior campus. From 5 to 6 p.m., event goers will have an opportunity to meet the instructor, learn more about the program, visit with current program students, try some of the equipment used by a technician in the field, learn about job opportunities and ask questions. The second hour participants can get one-on-one time with the instructor and get assistance with financial aid and registration if they are interested in enrolling in the program.
This presentation is free and open to the public. For information, contact Cindy Miller, admissions advisor, at (715) 394-6677 ext. 6243 or Cindy.Miller@witc.edu.
