Army National Guard Pfc. Nathan J. Madsen graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Jennifer Madsen and grandson of Jean Madsen of Superior. He graduated in 2007 from Superior High School, and received an associate degree in 2009 from Fond Du Lac Community College, Cloquet.
Air Force Airman Austin M. Hanson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Hanson earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Linda Boggess of North, Dallas, Wis., and grandson of Bonnie Boggess of Rice Lake, and is a 2009 graduate of Rice Lake High School.
Air National Guard Airman Lindsay A. Longtine graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base. Longtine earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the daughter of Steven and Jodi Longtine of Hayward, and graduated in 2007 from Hayward High School.
Army National Guard Pvt. Zachary J. Hartman graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Cathy Sigmund of Sarona, Wis., and graduated in 2009 from Spooner High School.
Air Force Airman Michael J. Moore graduated from the Utilities Systems Apprentice Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas. He is the son of Robert D. Moore of Ashland and a 2010 graduate of Ashland High School.
