Graduates
A number of local students graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point during the university’s spring commencement ceremonies. They include Seth Harmadi of Foxboro, Bachelor of Science in wildlife ecology research and management; Bobbi J. Love of Gordon, Bachelor of Science resource management; Edwin F. Koepp of Lake Nebagamon, Bachelor of Science in forest recreation.
Dr. Jake Americo Krieg was among those honored at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine/Palmetto Health Richland internal medicine graduation ceremonies June 11 in Columbia, marking the completion of Krieg’s three years of medical residency. On July 1, Dr. Krieg will begin a two-year fellowship in pulmonary in Columbia, S.C. The doctor is the son of Joe and Deb Krieg of Superior.
Honors
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,500 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2010-11 academic year. Students who received honors from the region include Bobbi J. Love of Gordon and Breanna J. Minor of Superior. High honors were granted to Rebecca J. Sutherland of Hawthorne and Gretchen A. Grube of Poplar.
