Haiti Worthy Cause Event
The Chester Park United Methodist Church, 819 N. 18th Ave. E., Duluth will provide an afternoon of music, storytelling and food starting at 3 p.m. A free will offering will be encouraged. Funds collected will support the Kako Foundation providing funding for underprivileged students to study music and enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
Rummage sale
Hawthorne Assembly of God Church hosts a multi-family house clean-out from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There is something for everyone at the Hawthorne Town Hall — household items, toys, clothes of various sizes and many miscellaneous items.
