Two-year colleges host commencement ceremonies

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Superior is proud to announce 130 students graduate today.

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Superior is proud to announce 130 students graduate today.

The commencement begins at 7 p.m. in the Superior Middle School auditorium. Dr. Diane Vertin, vice president, academic affairs and campus administrator WITC-Superior will confer degrees.

Jim Dahlberg, Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, delivers the commencement address. Student congratulatory remarks are given by Mary Carlson, student ambassador.

Music is performed by Karen Barschdorf, violinist, and Barb Hoag, guitarist. A reception will follow the ceremony.

WITC serves the educational and career needs of more than 25,000 residents of northwestern Wisconsin each year.

Lake Superior College recognizes this year’s graduating class at commencement exercises at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center on Monday. The event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. in the DECC Symphony Hall.
