Storm to bring winter-like weather back to Wisconsin
WISCONSIN RAPIDS (AP) — Parts of Wisconsin are expected to return to winter-like weather conditions with up to 10 inches of snow in the forecast Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued a storm warning for portions of northeast and central Wisconsin through Wednesday morning. The heaviest snowfall of 7 to 10 inches is expected in Wood, Portage and Shawano counties.
A winter weather advisory is posted for north central, west central and south central Wisconsin. The spring storm has shifted to the south on its way to Wisconsin, sparing the North Woods from the heaviest snow. Totals should range 2 to 4 inches there.
