Man killed in snowmobile crash near Antigo

ANTIGO, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating a fatal snowmobile crash near Antigo in northeastern Wisconsin.

The Langlade County Sheriff's Department says the snowmobile struck a tree around 5 p.m. Saturday in the town of Upham, north of Antigo. The 39-year-old driver died at the scene.

The Wausau Daily Herald reports his name and town of residence were still being withheld Sunday pending notification of relatives.
