Arlene and Emerson Cheever

Arlene and Emerson Cheever were observed their 50th wedding anniversary by a reception and renewal of wedding vows. Several friends and relatives from the Superior area attended including the best man and matron of honor Melvin and Joan Warring of Foxboro. The ceremony was held in Spanaway, Wash., where the couple now resides. The couple has four children, Charles (Cathy) of Hansville, Wash., Ken (Lisa) of River Falls, Wis., Glenn of Auburn, Wash., and Ann of Spanaway, Wash. Also present were their four grandchildren.

The event was hosted by their daughter Ann.

The former Arlene Simon of Superior married Emerson Cheever of Solon Springs on July 12, 1960, at the bride’s home in Superior.
