Professional boxing returns to Duluth as Horton’s Gym presents “Clash at the Clyde” on Saturday at Clyde Industrial Park, 115 South 29 Avenue West, Duluth. Gates open at 5 p.m. and fights start at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and $40 each and are available at the door or by calling 218-310-5200.
The co-main events are RJ. Laase (Duluth) vs. Hector Orozco (Eden Prairie, Minn.) in a six-round junior welter bout and Gary Eyer(Duluth) vs. Vincente Alfaro (Mexico City, Mexico) in an eight-round bantam weight bout.
Other bouts include:
Dustin Mason (Devils Lake, ND) vs. Andrew Selvig (Hinckley, Minn) — lightweight four rounds; Al Sands (Duluth) vs. Zack Zeigler (Ft. Thompson, SD) — heavyweight four rounds; and Aaron Green (Indianapolis) vs. Jordan Zeigler (Ft. Thompson, SD) — heavyweight four rounds.
Weigh-ins are at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Horseshoe Billiards, 2415 West Superior Street, Duluth. The public is welcome to attend Friday’s event.
