SHS swimmers lose by one at Rice Lake

Rice Lake outswam the Superior High School boys by one-hundredth of a second in the 200 freestyle relay to earn a 85-84 home victory over Superior on Dec. 21.

Jake Noonan was a double winner for the Spartans in the 200- and 100-meter freestyle events. Mason Ford was first in the 50. Ian Walker, Andrew Eisenmann, Ford and Noonan cruised to first in the 400 freestyle relay.

Superior hosts Duluth and Mesabi East at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
