Sporting events at SHS cancelled; NHS, SSHS still on as scheduled

All Superior High School sporting events for tonight have been cancelled. Make-up dates will be announced at a later date.

Cancelled events include:

Boys basketball home vs. Duluth Marshall.

Girls basketball at Duluth Central.

Boy JV hockey vs. Hayward

Girls hockey home vs. Proctor/Hermantown/Marshall

Boys swimming and diving at Rice Lake.

The final Spartan event prior to Christmas will be Thursday when the Spartan boys hockey team hosts New Richmond at Wessman Arena. The JV game is at 2 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 4 p.m.

This game was snowed out on Dec. 11.

* School at Northwestern and Solon Springs high schools is in session today and all sporting events will be played as scheduled.

The NHS Tiger boys host Hayward and the Tiger girls are at Webster. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.

The SSHS Eagles will play a home doubleheader with Mercer. The girls game begins at 6:30 p.m., with the boys game following at 7:45 p.m.
