MILWAUKEE (AP) — A five-vehicle crash involving a small school bus in north Milwaukee has left one man dead and at least four other people injured.
Police and fire officials say the crash happened about 2:40 p.m. Friday when a Ford Explorer crashed into four other vehicles, including the school bus.
Fire Department Battalion Chief Spencer Vassel tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the man who died was driving the Ford Explorer.
One child was on the bus. A spokeswoman for the Milwaukee School District says the child was checked at a hospital and released. At least three other people were taken to hospitals but are expected to survive.
Police are investigating. No tickets have been issued and no arrests made.
