A curling team sponsored by Advanced Broadband Solutions, Inc (ABSi) placed third overall in the Fussen “Classic” curling tournament held Sept. 24-26 in Fussen, Germany.
The open competition included both women’s and men’s and competitive teams from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
The ABSi team, led by Paul Pustovar (Hibbing), included Jeff Erickson (Hermantown) playing third; Anna Neunschwander (Switzerland), at second; and Duane Rutan (formerly from Superior) from Olympia Wash., at lead.
Team ABSI finished with a 4-1-1 record.
