2010 WIAA football playoff pairings, qualifying field

The Northwestern Tigers were awarded the No. 1 seed in the upcoming WIAA Division 4 playoffs and will host Saint Croix Falls at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gordon L. Nelson Field in Maple.

The Tigers completed a 9-0 regular season with a 39-23 win at Ladysmith Thursday night.

Other Group A first-round games Tuesday are Durand at Bloomer (4), Spooner at Baldwin-Woodville (3) and Saint Croix Central at Somerset (2).

The opponent for the Northwood-Solon Springs Evergreens will be released soon. The Evergreens clinched their third playoff berth Thursday night with a 55-0 win over the Siren Dragons.

Division 5, 6 and 7 pairings will be released soon.
