Still grinning the next day

To the Telegram: I would like to commend the SHS football staff and players for an opportunity that they gave a member of the Menomonie High School football team on Sept. 24.

To the Telegram:

I would like to commend the SHS football staff and players for an opportunity that they gave a member of the Menomonie High School football team on Sept. 24.

With the game already decided you allowed a Menomonie player a memory that he will never forget by allowing him to score the final touchdown of the game. I was told on the afternoon of Sept. 25 that he was still grinning from ear to ear from the previous night’s game.

Once again, the Superior football staff and players are a class act for allowing this to unfold.
