Poole-Peterson

Mr. and Mrs. David Poole announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Jeanne Poole, to Jonathan Mark Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Peterson of Montgomery, Ala.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 10 at Donavan Inn in Marion, Ala.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Anne E. Mooneyham and the large Dan W. Mooneyham of Reform and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ambers C. Poole Sr., of Aliceville.

The bridge-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Marion Academy and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama in May. She is employed by Brewer-Porch Children’s Center in Tusaloosa.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Joyce Kiener Driessen of Herbster, Wis., and the late Leon P. Kiener of Superior and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson of Superior.

He is a 2003 graduate of Kingwood Christian School and received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance in 2009. He is employed at Hyundai in Tuscaloosa.
