MENOMONIE, Wis. (AP) — A bicyclist who suffered a severe head injury in Menomonie remains hospitalized.
Police are investigating whether someone pushed 22-year-old Bradley Simon, of Waunakee, into a concrete wall early Saturday.
Simon is a senior construction major at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
The school issued a statement Sunday saying his family says he's in the intensive care unit of Luther Hospital in Eau Claire following surgery for his head injuries. It says the next few days will be critical in terms of his prognosis.
Police say bystanders told them Simon may have been pushed into the wall. Police are investigating whether foul play was involved.
