Hufnagle – Backlund

Ruth Hufnagle of Duluth, daughter of Ruthann and Donald Hufnagle of Apple Valley, Minn., exchanges vows with Brian Backlund of Superior on Sept. 18 at the Superior Curling Club. He is the son of Mary and Jim Backlund of Superior.

The bride-to-be is a 1983 graduate of Apple Valley High School, Apple Valley, Minn., and a 1988 graduate of the College of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as director of UHC Clearinghouse Operations, United Health Group in Duluth.

The groom-to-be is a 1985 graduate of Superior High School and a 2001 graduate of WITC-Superior with an associate degree in automotive technology. He is employed as a Toyota expert technician for Kari Toyota, Superior.
