Mike Lehto aced the 105-yard hole No. 8 at the Poplar Golf Course on Aug. 27 with a 52-degree gap wedge. Witnessing the shot was Connor Lehto.

Youth Golf

Aiden Bachand and Jake Brill turned in low scores in the Poplar Golf Course 2010 Youth Golf Tournament.

Nemadji

Thur. Morning Ladies

The Thursday Morning Ladies at the Nemadji Golf Course will wrap up its sea son this week on the North course. The event will be most 8s.

Last week’s event was throw out two holes and was won by Kelly Reed, who carded a 31. She also had the low score of 44.

The end of year scramble and banquet will be Sept. 9 with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start on the South course. Cost for lunch $8.

Golfers should sign up and pay at the pro shop by Sept. 5.
