Graduates

Jessa Wicklund of Superior completed her bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as of the conclusion of the university’s 2010 summer academic season.

Kaplan University in Chicago celebrated the graduation of its summer 2010 class Aug. 7. The following students earned degrees: Michelle Block of Minong, Marne Johnson of Superior and Matthew R. Wachtler of Superior.

Dean’s list

Brandon Bukowski of Superior was named to the spring 2010 dean’s list at Augsburg College in Rochester, Minn. He is the son of Bob and Brenda Bukowski.

Scholarships

Amanda D. Brown, daughter of Larry and Tammy Brown of Maple, has been awarded a $2,000 Art Scholarship, a $16,000 Regents’/Trustees’ Scholarship and a $3,000 Saints Scholarship by the College of Saint Benedict for the 2010-11 academic year. She is a first-year student at the college.
