Dean’s list
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet announced that 341 students attending the college during spring semester earned academic honors and have been placed on the dean’s list. Students include Loren Nelsen of South Range and Rachelle Eades, April Herubin, Adam Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Casey Johnstone, Brandon Knutson, Dillon Lundy, Matthew McKone, Sean Oswald and Eric Penney, all of Superior.
A number of local students attending the College of St. Scholastica during spring semester earned academic honors and have been placed on the dean’s list. They include Noah Goyke of Ashland, Megan Munns and Julie Sandstrom of Hayward, Tyler Klobucher and Katie Mahocker of Iron River, Brendan Payton and Nicole Hughes of Lake Nebagamon, Jacie Maslowski and Kate Pearson of Poplar, Anna Short of Washburn and Superior residents Lyndsay Daniel, Robert Downs, Peter Drinkwine, Cynthia Erlemeier, Mitchell Frost, Katie Gothner, Sean Graskey, Sara Greely, Katelyn Hammerbeck, Elizabeth Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Cara McCuskey, Stephanie Milinkovich, Alanna Naughton, Helen Severin, Devin Soul, Evan Strewler, Geoff Torzewski, Michael VanMassenhove and Debra Williams.
Scholarships
Hannah Knoll of Lake Nebagamon and Nicholas Goble of Superior are among the 75 students attending the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall who have received Chancellor’s Award scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year.
April Johnson of Poplar has received a Freshman Honor scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Graduate
Jessa Wicklund of Superior completed her bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as of the conclusion of the university’s summer 2010 academic session.
