Run like an animal for the zoo

Whether you’re quick as a bunny or slow as a desert tortoise, you’ll want to head to the Lake Superior Zoo for Run Like an Animal 5k run/walk on Saturday. The Event is part of Spirit Valley Days.

Enjoy a run through the zoo, continuing on to the scenic trails adjacent to it.

The entry fee is $30 prior to race day and $35 on race day; it includes zoo ticket, t-shirt and refreshments. The proceeds benefit the Lake Superior Zoo.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the run starting at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starting at 9 a.m. Awards to follow at 10:30 a.m. Prizes will also be awarded for best animal costumes.
