Driving through Oklahoma on a trip home from Texas, Carol Reasbeck stumbled on an idea that would make Superior Central’s centennial all-class reunion more meaningful – create a scholarship to help other Superior students achieve greatness.
For more than a year, the organizing committee has been selling merchandise and accepting donations with a goal of creating a $1,000 scholarship from the thousands of students who once walked the halls of Central. The goal is to raise $30,000 to $40,000 so the scholarship can help students well into the future.
Proceeds from merchandise sold during next week’s reunion will go toward the scholarships and donations are accepted by Pat Higgins of the class of 1956 from those who still want to contribute.
Send your contributions to the Central All-Class Reunion Scholarship to Pat Higgins, 5215 Tower Ave., Superior, WI 54880.
