Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College has recently named Ellen Hauser as its director of institutional effectiveness.
“I’m very excited about this new position, both for myself and for the college,” Hauser said. “In this era of increasing expectations for accountability and transparency, it is my hope that the new WITC Office of Institutional Effectiveness will be a resource to assist each division of the college to define measures, collect data, and analyze results that will prompt reflection on programming and services and the linkage of those to the college’s strategic priorities.”
Hauser formerly served as the executive dean for WITC. She will begin her new job on July 1.
The position serves all of WITC’s campuses and reports to the vice president of Administrative Services at the Administrative Office in Shell Lake. Hauser will have responsibility for accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission and will help direct the college’s continuous improvement and planning efforts.
“Ellen has been a valuable WITC employee, and we’re excited to have someone with her knowledge and experience in this important role,” said John Will, WITC vice president of administrative services.
“After 22 years at WITC, it will be my pleasure to help showcase the remarkable dedication and efforts of staff that help make WITC one of the most respected educational institutions in Northern Wisconsin,” Hauser said.
