Registration now open for 35th Grandma's MarathonGrandmasMarathon.com features new design
Registration for the 2011 Grandma’s Marathon is now open. The entry fee through Sept. 30 is $80. On Oct. 1, the fee will increase to $85 (see complete fee structure below).
Visit www.GrandmasMarathon.com to register for the event’s 35th running which is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18. Along with the opening of registration, the race has also unveiled a newly designed and updated Web site. The new site was developed by 10fold Solutions Web Design.
“We’re excited to launch the new look to our Web site at the same time as marathon registration for our 35th anniversary,” said Scott Keenan, executive director of Grandma’s Marathon. “Next year’s event is one you won’t want to miss. We have some exciting things in store and we’re already busy preparing for the celebration.”
As part of the 35th anniversary celebration, all marathon participants will receive a commemorative Grandma’s Marathon cinch bag and an aluminum water bottle. The 26.2-mile race is limited to the first 10,000 participants.

$80 - July 1 to Sept. 30
$85 – Oct. 1 to Jan. 31
$90 – Feb. 1 to March 31
$100 - April 1 to May 31
The 35th Grandma’s Marathon weekend also will feature the 21st annual Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and the 18th annual William A. Irvin 5K. Registration for those two events will begin next February and March, respectively. The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will take place at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 18 and the William A. Irvin 5K at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 17.
