Man identified in fatal boating incident

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a man who died after a fishing boat capsized in Lake Michigan outside Sheboygan.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department says 67-year-old Charles Koenig of, Cleveland, died Friday. His companions, 61-year-old Thomas Wotruba and 59-year-old Steven P. Frye, both from Green Bay, were rescued and declined medical care.

Authorities have said the three were fishing about three miles from shore when an entangled net caused the 20-foot boat to overturn Friday.

The county sheriff's department, U.S. Coast Guard and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are investigating.
