Sheriff seeks help to find missing person

The Washburn County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate William L. Moritz.

Moritz was reported leaving his residence in southern Wisconsin on Monday to come to his cabin on Twin Lakes Road in the town of Minong. Moritz was last seen on Monday morning wearing a blue polo shirt and blue pants. He is described as a 50-year-old white male, approximately 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Sheriff’s personnel, along with other agencies, are involved in a search operation to find Moritz in Minong.
