History on sale in Solon Springs
Both gymnasiums inside the Solon Springs School look like museums. A Hopalong Cassidy lunchbox sits next to a group of turn of the century umbrellas which sits next to four Barker's Island Four Seasons Beer cans. Although, unlike a museum, this stuff is for sale.

Kate Klinzing, of Solon Springs looks at auction items in the Solon Springs High School gymnasium on Thursday morning. Items from the auction belonged to Our Saviors Lutheran Church pastor Dennis Bergeson, the avid antique collector donated his estate to the church before he passed away in November 2009. Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Solon Springs is hosting an auction of its former pastor, Dennis Bergeson's, antique collection. Pastor Bergeson, who had been at Our Savior's for 32 years, passed away in November of 2009 and left his belongings to the church.
The auction, which started Thursday at 10 a.m., will be open Friday morning at 8 a.m. for viewing with the auction beginning at 10 a.m.
