ZACHOW, Wis. (AP) — A 50-year-old De Pere man has been found dead at the bottom of a grain bin.

Gregory Siolka had been working at the Stuart Sorenson Grain Elevato in Zachow, about 25 miles northwest of Green Bay, on Wednesday morning.

The Shawano County sheriff's department says he was reported missing shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Siolka was found at the bottom of a bin holding corn about 12 feet deep. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was recovered Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators believe Siolka fell while trying to clear out some of the corn that had clogged in the bin and became sucked in.
