Plant an extra row in your garden and donate the produce to benefit food shelves in Douglas County.
Help other set up and maintain a garden (i.e. rototilling, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting)

Donated produce should be dropped off at Solid Rock, 1004 N. Sixth St., Superior. Call (715) 392-6264 for the hours.
Donate food preservation supplies
Donations will be used to support Solid Rock community garden and low income families. For more information, contact Linda Bruce, UW-Extension at (715) 395-1363 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Items needed include the following:
New canning jars, either wide or regular mouth, in quart, pint or jelly size.
New canning jar lids and bands, wide or regular mouth.
Canning jar funnels, lifters and lid lifters.
Canning bubble extractors/headspace tools.
Plastic and dishwater safe cutting boards.
Freezer bagsin quart or gallon size.
Ball Blue Books Guide to Preserving.
Hot water bath canners with jar rack.
Food dehydrators with temperature control feature and/or other features.
Pressure canners, 16 quart size.
