Work on three resurfacing projects gets underway this week
Work is expected to begin this week on road resurfacing projects in Superior.
Monarch Paving will be resurfacing Broadway Street between Ogden and Hammond avenues, and Hill Avenue between Maple Avenue and North 28th St. The projects are expected to take 45 days to complete.
Broadway Street will be closed to east and westbound traffic during the construction but vehicles traveling north and south will be able to cross the street. Hill avenue will be closed from North 21st Street to Maple Avenue.
Another project consists of work being done on East Fifth Street from 12th to 20th avenues East and is expected to take 30 days to complete. East Fifth will be closed to through traffic but will be open to crossing traffic.
The projects include removal of deteriorated asphalt and minor curb, gutter and pedestrian ramp repairs.
