Sarah Rivord, a graduate of Superior High School, is one of 20 winners of Minnesota Power’s $2,500 Community Involvement Scholarships. In partnership with the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation (DSACF), scholarships are awarded to students who live in the Minnesota Power electric service area, have maintained good academic records and have been actively involved in volunteer projects in their communities. Minnesota Power began this scholarship program in 1998. To date, 320 students have received $625,000 in scholarship aid.
